Jewelry Care

To keep your Alexandra Ungurelu Jewelry at its best, please store it in a special jewelry box, each piece separate from others, this way you avoid scratching some jewels with other pieces of jewelry. Avoind storing your jewelry in a place that gets damp or hot, this can cause tarnishing.

 

Handwash, perfumes, chlorine, detergents and oils can all cause tarnishing and damage to the surface finish. We recomend that you apply scents or cosmetics before you put on any jewelry.

 

When jewelry comes in contact with water you can gently dry with soft cloth to avoid the risk of tarnishing.

 

Plated items will wear naturally over time. Silver or Gold-plated items cand be cleand with warm soapy water, rinsed and then gently dryed with a soft cloth.

 

We recomend you do not wear your jewelry while swimming, bathing, showering, doing household work or exercising. Take care not to drop, knock or scratch them.

 

You can brighten up your jewelry pieces by using a jewelry cleaning cloth. There are special ones for silver jewelry that you can find in some speciality stores, this type of cloth can bring a piece back to life as it loses shine with wear.
